A novel of suspense that explores the complexities of marriage and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.
When you read this book, you will make many assumptions.
You will assume you are reading about a jealous wife and her obsession with her replacement.
You will assume you are reading about a woman about to enter a new marriage with the man she loves.
You will assume the first wife was a disaster and that the husband was well rid of her.
You will assume you know the motives, the history, the anatomy of the relationships.
Discover the next blockbuster novel of suspense, and get ready for the read of your life.
WOW. This book was perfection.
Everything about The Wife Between Us was intricately structured and planned to create a novel that was both addictive and amazing. It’s told in three parts, and as each part unfolds it brings something new to the table. Starting out with a bit of intrigue, atmosphere, and tension, the story unfolds slowly at first, then faster and faster until crashing to a climax. The chapters are short, making it easy to read this compulsively, and I found myself picking it up to read in any spare few moments that came my way.
I’m keeping this short and won’t talk about the plot at all to avoid spoilers; this is one of those books best gone into completely blind. The blurb perfectly captures everything you need to decide if you want to read it. I will say that it is perfectly paced with a cast of characters that were thoroughly complex and captivating, and I became fully immersed in getting to know them and their world.
Some serious magic happened when these two authors came together – I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
